OpenTalks·AI Conference 2026

Open Conference on Artificial Intelligence

For the 2026 edition of OpenTalks·AI in Belgrade, I was tasked with creating a visual identity that felt as complex and evolving as the field of Artificial Intelligence itself. My role was to bridge the gap between abstract data and the physical world through a comprehensive design system covering everything from key visuals to digital signage. OpenTalks·AI is an independent international conference bridging the gap between deep AI science and real-world business. Since 2018, it has served as a premier global platform for the ML community, balancing academic research with practical R&D.

The Concept: Neural Growth

Instead of falling back on tired tech clichés (blue circuits, glowing brains) I looked toward nature. I developed a visual metaphor based on macro-organic textures, using corals and fractals to represent the way neural networks grow, adapt, and branch out. In a room full of generative algorithms, every visual for this project was crafted entirely without the use of AI. I wanted to prove that human-led design still offers a unique, tactile depth that resonates in a high-tech environment. A library of visuals used to distinguish different conference tracks. To further emphasize the “living” nature of the concept, I developed subtle animations for some slides. A flexible, modular PowerPoint template was designed for speakers to present complex data while maintaining conference aesthetic. As well as high-legibility vertical agendas in digital and paper formats.
Vladimir doesn’t just “draw” slides—he helps you see your ideas in a clearer, more compelling way. And I’ve seen a lot of slides and speakers. Igor Pivovarov Head of Org committee of OpenTalks·AI
